Juice and coffee at Palikitchen.

Affordable, boutique and hip–this eclectic-urban hideaway is just what West Hollywood needed. Lets just say if you like the style of the Ace Hotel franchise you’ll love the Palihotel. The jewel-toned lobby feels like the den of a wealthy horseman. Rooms feature plush couches, comfy beds and simple schoolhouse style furniture and bedding. The location on Melrose Ave. can’t be beat. The hotel is walking distance to Fred Segal and the Grove (awesome sandwich shop ink.sack is about a mile West on Melrose). The Palihotel has no shortage of interesting amenities—in house-thai massage, a blow-dry bar and a cute café serving up gourmet coffee and toasted sandwiches. The downside may be the lack of a liquor license, but who needs an in-hotel watering hole when so many killer spots are right out your door? Plus you may be able to get what you really came for–a good night’s sleep.
