Taxidermy at the Lion's Share

This bar/restaurant is the latest San Diego spot to jump on the craft cocktail band wagon. It’s a crowded field and the decor may be reminiscent of Craft and Commerce but The Lion’s Share is definitely worth checking out. The cocktails are seriously good and the food is more than just an after thought. Patrons may also enjoy the more low key atmosphere. The meat heavy menu goes well with the ambience- think taxidermy, filament bulbs, and red velvet drapes. The Lion’s Share is open late, until 2 every night of the week and the kitchen doesn’t close until midnight. I also love the building’s old brick exterior and its location in a quaint part of downtown.
